The count down begins....

Hello friends and family.....

We are back!!!

We are preparing for our first camping extravaganza this year! The Element was treated to a nice spa day at the mechanic and is ready for the next road trip.

Our friends are gracious enough to take care of King Taj, our black panther.

The weather Gods are sending some heat our way...and maybe some rain. Honestly, it wouldn't be a Berecz camping trip without the skies opening up and sending us into a frenzy...Bring it!

As the old saying goes...

There is no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes and equipment!

We kicked of summer with an awesome day chilling on the Aqua Lounge with our dearest friends and neighbors. Our buddie Eddie brought his own vessel and crashed the party doggiestyle!

After spending way too much money and time buying bagged ice, Jon discovered a plug in cooler (powered by an ingenious battery concoction invented by non other than Da Berecz), which allows us to camp with fresh butter and eggs for days on end.
This years addition to already perfect S'mores is fresh bananas! Amazing! Elvis would be proud..wait a minute- S'mores with peanut butter and bananas...mind blowing.

Hermit Island...here we come

Camping 2012 is on! Just received our confirmation for our next trip to Hermit Island Campground- we are so excited. We were able to snatch up our favorite spot with direct beach access and spectacular water view! This time we will bring our paddleboards and bikes- we recently purchased a bike rack for our trailer hitch. Our poor Element will have to work extra hard this year with all the additional gear:)
Already creating new ideas for unique eats- Jon had built an awesome storage unit for the back of the Element to organize all our camping and cooking gear. We will make 3 course mouthwatering, restaurant worthy meals in any weather condition! No excuses!!!
